LAURIE GRANLUND

Laurie Granlund has had a vast musical career. Ranging from guest soloist with area symphonies, performing in the national Broadway tour of "My Fair Lady", singing with "The Dallas Opera," to singing on a cruise ship, six flags, and recording a solo album.  At one time, Laurie performed in solo concerts nationwide; however, when she discovered that she would be adding two more babies to the family, her recording career took a back seat to the role of wife and mother of four.

Laurie has had the privilege to encourage and instruct singers of all ages over the past 30 years.  Her students have won seats in the TMEA All-State Choir, live auditions on "The Voice", live auditions on "America's Got Talent", and won various prestigious scholarships to National Universities and Summer workshops within the United States and overseas.

While living in NYC for several years, Laurie enjoyed the “nanny” life as well as her musical career caring for three little baby boys.  Those little “men” and her own daughters enjoyed the benefits of introducing various styles of music with personal attention.  She is excited to bring her musical expertise to the minds of little “singers” in a group setting.
